Never disclose your real name, school, phone number or where you live. 2. Never exchange photographs over the Internet (via e-mail,chat rooms or USPS mail). 3. Always tell your parents if you receive any weird messages that you feel is frightening or upsetting. 4. ALWAYS ask permission from your parents before using the computer. 5. Never agree to meet anyone in person that you met in a chat room. 6. Never give out your password. 7. Never agree to enter private chat rooms. 8. Never accept everything a person says online as 100% truth. 9. Never accept an 'Instant Message' from someone you don't know. 10. Never give anyone your real age. Contributor's Note I made this list with my own children in mind. I've heard too many horror stories and don't want to this happen to my children OR yours. Help me to protect OUR children from internet predators.
